Milind Bokil
Milind Bokil (Devanagari: मिलिंद बोकिल) is a writer and a sociologist from Maharashtra, India. He has written in Marathi and English.
He received a doctorate in sociology from Pune University. His doctoral thesis was on water management in co-operative setups in drought-prone regions of Maharashtra.
He has a huge experience of working as a Project associate,Research associate,Project coordinator,Chief research officer with various Government Committees,Training institutes and NGO support programs.

- Recipient of the Katha Award for Best Short Fiction in Marathi[6] ( 89-91 ) at the hands of the Hon. President of India on 30 September 1992 at New Delhi
- Recipient of the Best Literature Award by the Maharashtra Foundation (USA-1995)
- Recipient of the LEAD International Fellowship (Cohort IV - 1995-97) to work on the issues of environment and development. Attended training in Costa Rica, Japan and Zimbabwe.
- Recipient of LEAD fellowship[7] to undergo a professional exchange at the Centro Ecologico, Ipe, Brazil on Sustainable Agriculture in August 2000.
